While Lyft has had this positive effect on our communities, we have also seen areas in which Lyft and its drivers have unnecessarily exposed riders and the public to dangers. Setting aside those incidents in which Lyft drivers have physically and sexually assaulted riders, the actions of Lyft drivers performing their hired tasks has unnecessarily put both their passengers and others on the roads at risk in many instances.
